- Never pay upfront โ payment is collected only after the service is complete.
- Check the listing photos and full description before confirming.
- For in-home services, inform a family member or neighbor.
During the Service
- Keep all communication and arrangements within the app.
- Verify the provider's name and profile photo when they arrive.
- For large projects, document the scope of work in writing.
- Keep valuables secured and out of sight.
Personal Data
- Do not share personal details outside the app.
- Never share payment credentials with anyone.
- Use a strong, unique password for your MuyaHub account.
- Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately.
Red Flags to Watch For
- Provider asks for payment outside the app โ always refuse.
- Quote is suspiciously low, then rises sharply once work starts.
- Profile photo looks fake or stock-photo-like with no reviews.
- Pressure to release payment before work is completed.
